It includes a bio-retention basin which captures, stores and filters storm water runoff from adjacent roads before being released into Kororoit Creek. Seating areas are provided and a shared
||pedestrian/bicycle path connects to existing trails along Kororoit Creek and around Lake Caroline. Extensive indigenous planting of Allocasuarina verticillata (Dropping She Oak), Ficinia nodosa (Knobby Club Rush), Lomandra longifolia (Spiny Headed Mat Rush), Carex tereticaulis (Common Sedge) and Poa labillardieri (Common Tussock Grass) compliment the natural setting.
