The park is designed around three restored brick wells and existing Eucalyptus camaldulensis (River Red Gum), Eucalyptus cladocalyx (Sugar Gum) and Pinus radiata (Pine Tree) trees. The wells provide a unique feature in the landscape and now form part of an interactive playground area, which comprises of a flying fox, swings, balance beams and a gravel bocce court. A shelter and separate pergola are located adjacent to these elements and provide convenient shade, shelter and seating opportunities. The shelter is located on a main view line overlooking an adjacent wetland and is located on the high point of the site. It is constructed of a galvanised metal frame and a galvanised corrugated skillion roof, with recycled spotted gum timber cladding, rusted steel plates and fixings. Brick pillars and a brick BBQ reference the original brick wells. A separate pergola frames views across to other hilltop open space reserve.
